Marsala the Colour of 2015
Marsala is the new colour for 2015. It’s an atmospheric hue; giving a room an immediate warm moody look with its deep and woody undertones. Can be used in either a contemporary or traditional design. A great accent colour to add to the rooms currently in vogue, of greys and oatmeal, with marsala cushions, rugs or fabrics. If your using it on your walls, keep in mind the best rooms to use a dark colour are the north facing or generally rooms that are naturally dark, it creates warmth, atmosphere and a bit of romance.
Marsala walls, in gloss, to reflect light. It gives the impression the room is actually bigger. Paint available from our showroom.

Happy Christmas
Classic Christmas Candle
The one and only original candle is in it’s 10th Christmas and as popular as ever. The magic of our classic candle, is the strength of fragrance oil we use. The wonderful aromas, of cinnamon, honeysuckle, nutmeg, citrus zest and peppercorns, instantly transforms any room to a Christmassy feel. Perfect for Christmas gifts.
The Power of Fragrance in Interiors
Scent styling, in each of our designs, is our lasting final detail for our client’s rooms. We all know that smell has the ability to instantly transform a space, evoking the senses and creating a memory, all enhancing the experience. When clients arrive home their favourite scent, our signature fragrance, creates an instantaneous feeling of familiarity, or a welcome home. Our scented candle, room spray and taper, is a blend of honeysuckle, citrus zest, peppercorns and cinnamon, just perfect, and wonderful to layer with our other ranges of Juniper and Spruce or Oud and Log fire.

Christmas Tipple
Christmas is the perfect time to replenish the drinks cabinet with bar accessories. At Ian Thompson’s we have a beautiful choice of wine and champagne coolers, ice-buckets, decanters and glasses, even the armoiré to display everything and very handy to serve from when entertaining. Great idea for presents for the friend that has everything…

The House of Diane von Furstenberg
Diane von Furstenberg is bringing her legendary fashion print for our home. The iconic designer’s signature prints, such as spotted cat and funky zebra, are available at our showroom. The collection has a strong foundation of black and white with pops of colour, geometric and abstract prints for an eclectic blend designed to be mixed and matched. The collection also includes custom designed trimmings to accent the fabrics with an exotic edge true to von Furstenbuerg’s style. All available at our showroom.

Pumpkin Orange
On cold days, a pop of colour in a neutral room, gives cosiness. Burnt orange is one of our favourites, great with neutrals or pale and charcoal greys. If you need a little warmth added to your rooms look at our range of beautiful fabrics for cushions, and soft furnishings. Orange hues of soft saffron or Veuve Clicquot orange to deep russets, all create a warm vivacious room. As usual I have some compilations for inspiration.
